I had such a great time at the Jay Brannan concert! I have a new appreciation for his voice, his musicality, his personality. On top of that, he sang my favorite song of his, Can’t Have It All. Molly Parden and Jesse Ruben opened for him and they were both wonderful too. I think she sounds like Joy from The Civil Wars, and Jesse has the sweetest singing voice. I was a bit nervous showing up for a show by myself, but I ran into two girls who made the night endlessly entertaining in their love for Jesse Ruben.
